Walter Lee Bingham

January 7, 1942 — November 18, 2017

Walter L. Bingham, 75, of Heber Springs went to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 18th at Baptist Health Medical Center in Heber Springs.

He was born January 7, 1942, in Beech Grove, Arkansas to the late Edgar and Notra (Bailey) Bingham.

Walter was a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Heber Springs. He had an infectious laugh. He loved to play jokes on everyone. He liked to tinker with small engines and listening to Roy Orbinson. Walter was a hard-working man who always provided for his family. He loved camping and spending time at the lake. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish Walter’s memory is his wife of 53 years, Joan Bingham; one son, Mark Bingham of Searcy; three daughters, Lee Ann Gray (Mark) of Bentonville, Sarah Pemberton (Barry) of Brookland, Arkansas; and Rebecca Moore of Cabot; three brothers, Bill Bingham of Searcy, Burl Bingham of Griffithville, and John Bingham of Colorado; one sister, Norma South of Burford, Georgia; six grandchildren, Zachary Moore, Dylan Bingham, Sean Gray, Laura Gray, Darren Bingham, and Jessica Moore; and two great grandchildren, Kenzley and Stella Moore.

In addition to his parents Walter was preceded in death by one grandson, Cody Pemberton; and one sister, Eva Mae Bingham.

There are no services scheduled at this time for Mr. Walter L. Bingham.

All Cremation services have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
