Walton Leon McLain

Walton Leon McLain, 92, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024.  He was born December 27, 1931 in Sturkey, Arkansas to the late Orion P. McLain and Esther Haynes McLain.  He is preceded in death by 4 sisters, Wilma, Willene, Wanda and Margaret; 1 brother, Wade and a son, Bobby Leon McLain.

He is survived by his son, Malcom McLain (Sonya) of Searcy; daughters, Rebecca Robbins of Searcy and Janice Patterson (Eric) of Pangburn; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Walt was a veteran having served in the Army and the National Guard.

A visitation will be held at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 6:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Arkansas Children’s Hospital.  Arrangements by Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.   www.searcymceuenfuneralhome.com.
