William C. Mann

William C. "Bill" Mann, Jr., 78, of Searcy, died Thursday September 7, 2006. He was born March 7, 1928, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of the late William Clark and Ethel (Atkinson) Mann. He worked as a service manager for Yarnells for 16 years. He was also a charter member of Grace Methodist and St. Paul Methodist churches. He was a veteran and served in the Air Force and the Korean Conflict, and a loving husband and dad.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Pence Mann of Searcy, AR; Two sons, William Clark "Bill" Mann III and wife Karon of Little Rock, AR, Robert A. "Bob" Mann of Searcy, AR; One sister, Louise Hamilton of Bellevue, NE; Four grandchildren, Stephanie Martin of Bald Knob, AR, Melissa Nelson of Searcy, AR, David Mann of Little Rock, AR, Mary Catherine Mann of Little Rock, AR.; and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one brother, Donald Mann.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, September 10, 2006. Family will greet friends at the church from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church in Searcy or Hospice Home Care in Searcy. Services entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
