William Howard Marsh

William "Howard" Marsh, 86 of Searcy, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 2, 2009. William was born in Pangburn, Arkansas on August 10, 1922 to the late William Thomas Marsh and Victoria (Fowler) Marsh. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in WWII where he was captured at the Battle of the Bulge and remained a POW for seven months.

William was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, his wife, Wyneta Albert Marsh and one son, Don Marsh.

William is survived by two sons, Tony Marsh and his wife Lora of Heber Springs and Jim Marsh of Wilburn; one brother, Joe Marsh of Pangburn; 9 grandchildren and 17 Great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home of Searcy, AR.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home chapel.

Interment will follow at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn, Arkansas
