Willie Everet Sterling

Willie Everet Sterling, 85, of Searcy, died December 19, 2012. He was born January 28, 1927 in Judsonia to the late Willie and Mary Ella Cox Sterling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two wives, Virginia Hamm Sterling and Betty Louis Huffman Sterling; two brothers, Eugene and Clarence Sterling; five sisters, Mary Landis, Clara Watkins, Evelyn Roberts, Louise Cranford, and Alpha Sterling.

He is survived by two brothers, Harold and Steve Sterling Sr.; three sisters, Pauline Watkins, Alda Hastings, and Kaunita Ellison; ten step children, and several step grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Saturday, December 22, 2012 until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Burial is to follow at White County Memorial Gardens.
