Winnie Mae Kohal, 83, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 12, 2007. She was born June 30, 1924 on Black Jack Mountain near Floyd, Arkansas to the late Daniel Kimball and Winnie Lee Smith Ferren. She was a homemaker, member of the West Point Church of Christ, and former member of the Women's Auxiliary at the time of her departure into glory.
Winnie Mae Kohal was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lester Kohal, son, Billy Walker, daughters Shirley Hale and Carolyn Swain. She is survived by her son Larry Walker; brothers Alfred and Odell Ferren; sisters Ovie Donnell and Vivian Hodges; numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Friday, at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 15, 2007 at the West Point Cemetery, in West Point, Arkansas with Ed Land officiating.
